Quetta, Dec 3 (NationPress) The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) asserts it has caused substantial damage to the “occupying” Pakistani military during four distinct operations across various locations in Balochistan, such as Mastung, Turbat, Kohlu, and Chamalang. They also claimed to have detained security personnel from “exploitative companies” and confiscated their weapons.

The group's spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch, stated that on December 1, their fighters ambushed Pakistani military personnel in Jalo Gandan, located in the Dasht area of Mastung, while the troops were engaged in railway track clearance. During this ambush, two Pakistani soldiers were reportedly “eliminated at the scene”, while another sustained injuries but managed to flee.

Furthermore, the spokesperson indicated that BLA fighters targeted a Pakistani army checkpost near Park Hotel in Turbat city with a grenade attack on the same day, leading to casualties and damage to property.

Baloch Liberation Army fighters also assaulted a security camp associated with an exploitative gas company in the Sinhari area of Kohlu. The security personnel present were detained, and their weapons were confiscated, while local company personnel were released with a stern warning.

They reported a similar incident at a security camp of an exploitative coal company at Triple Modh in Chamalang, where personnel were apprehended and their weapons seized.

“All local personnel were released after being warned. The Baloch Liberation Army cautions all individuals connected with exploitative companies to halt their security or facilitation services immediately. Those involved will be held accountable for their actions and the resulting repercussions,” stated the BLA.

Earlier, on Monday, the BLA claimed responsibility for killing 27 Pakistani Army personnel and injuring over 17 others in 29 attacks that took place between November 28 and November 30 across Balochistan.

“The Baloch Liberation Army freedom fighters launched an assault on the occupying Pakistani Army’s Coast Guard camp in the Pasni area of Gwadar using multiple grenade launchers. They also targeted military intelligence agents of the Pakistani Army in the Jiwani area of Gwadar with a remote-controlled IED attack while the agents were returning after extorting money from vehicles. The explosion resulted in the elimination of three military intelligence agents and left two others severely injured,” the BLA reported.
