Sachdeva was present at the Delhi BJP State Office to discuss the 13th Budget proposal from the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He remarked that this Budget, which supports sports and nurtures sporting talent, is indeed youth-friendly.
“The Budget for 2026, which focuses on the construction sector, tourism, pilgrimage site enhancement, and medical tourism, will grant new opportunities to Young India,” Sachdeva mentioned.
He noted that this is the inaugural Budget crafted at Kartavya Bhavan – the newly established Central Government office complex in Delhi – and it meets the government’s obligations towards the populace.
Sachdeva pointed out that by providing loan security for private builders — the champions of development in Delhi and other urban regions — the Government of India has also expedited the advancement of pilgrimage sites. This will positively impact the construction industry and stimulate building activities.
In Budget 2026, the administration under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promoted medical tourism to enhance healthcare for the elderly, which is expected to create thousands of jobs within the medical field.
By advocating for the growth of AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics), the budget will inject fresh energy and job opportunities for countless professionals.
Advancements in the national hospitality sector, development of pilgrimage locations, and cultural preservation will generate thousands of new employment opportunities, Sachdeva indicated.
The new Income Tax Act, announced by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, is a commendable step, slated for implementation on April 1, 2026. By extending the deadline for filing returns for individuals with non-audit income tax returns, the Finance Minister has provided substantial relief.
By refraining from imposing any new taxes, the government has delivered significant relief to the middle class.
With the introduction of incentives and aid to foreign data service companies operating in India, new job opportunities have emerged for the youth.
The reduction of customs duty on medicines for cancer and seven other ailments showcases the thoughtful and compassionate approach of the Modi government.
Focusing on concessions for smartphones in the Union Budget, the Delhi BJP chief mentioned that it will benefit the youth, while reduced prices of microwave ovens will aid homemakers.
During a collective live listening of the Budget, Sachdeva was accompanied by Delhi BJP Co-In-Charge Dr Alka Gurjar, State General Secretary Vishnu Mittal, and State BJP Media Head Praveen Shankar Kapoor.
Together with Sachdeva, members of the Delhi BJP Budget Committee — including spokesperson Yasir Jilani, Media Relations Head Vikram Mittal, CA Cell President Deendayal, IT Cell President Punit Agrawal, and the presidents and office-bearers of all eight morchas of the Delhi BJP — also viewed and listened to the ninth consecutive Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on television at the party office.
