He emphasized that reflecting the principles of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's Antyodaya and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to comprehensive development, this budget is designed to benefit all demographics within society.

This unprecedented budget, amounting to Rs 1.03 lakh crore, marks the largest allocation in Delhi's history, with the state government generating about 74 percent of its revenue for expenses. The remaining 26 percent is earmarked for specific initiatives, establishing a self-sufficient budget framework.

Sachdeva noted that this budget is aimed at fostering a prosperous Delhi, allocating over 31 percent—equivalent to Rs 32,360 crore—for the enhancement of education and health services.

He stated, "In any capital city, urban development and transport are pivotal. Following Prime Minister Modi's vision, the Rekha Gupta administration has initiated plans for Delhi 2047 by designating 23.32 percent of the budget to these crucial sectors."

Furthermore, the Delhi BJP President highlighted the allocation of Rs 1,777 crore for agricultural maintenance and the rapid development of urbanizing villages, along with Rs 10,537 crore for social security programs, demonstrating the Rekha Gupta government's dedication to the "Sarvajan Sukhay, Sarvajan Hitay" ethos.

Having commenced the distribution of free gas cylinders to underprivileged families during Holi in the 2025–26 financial year, the Rekha Gupta government has earmarked Rs 260 crore in the 2026–27 budget for this purpose and Rs 450 crore for complimentary bus travel for women and transgender individuals, showcasing a compassionate governance approach.

Sachdeva affirmed that this second budget from the Rekha Gupta government, following a noteworthy first year, will elevate Delhi to new heights.
