The Budget session of the Delhi Assembly is scheduled for March 23 to 25. Following the Cabinet's resolution, the Economic Survey report will be submitted to the Assembly on March 23.
In anticipation of the Assembly session, Speaker Gupta unveiled an AI-enabled chatbot named ‘Vidhan Sathi’ for members, establishing the city legislature as the first in India to implement such a technological resource.
In remarks to legislators, Gupta stated, “Legislators often need to navigate complex laws and policy topics in a limited timeframe. ‘Vidhan Sathi’, designed as a specialized legislative research and assistance tool, aims to provide them with clarity, context, and reliable information, ensuring that every discussion in this House is informed, thoughtful, and purposeful.”
