New Delhi, March 20 (NationPress) In the lead-up to the upcoming Delhi Assembly Budget Session commencing on March 23, Speaker Vijender Gupta convened with Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and her Cabinet members to outline preparations and logistics for legislative proceedings.

They have confirmed that the Budget for the fiscal year 2026–27 will be presented on March 24, marking the second consecutive Budget delivered by CM Gupta, who also manages the Finance portfolio.

Post-meeting, the Chief Minister remarked: “Our administration is entirely dedicated to presenting a Budget that promotes Delhi’s advancement and meets the expectations of its residents.”

The Assembly's official social media channels shared: “Today, Hon’ble Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta visited Hon’ble Assembly Speaker Shri Vijender Gupta as a courtesy ahead of the Assembly Budget Session starting on March 23. During this meeting, it was affirmed that Delhi’s Budget will be unveiled on March 24.”
