In an interview with IANS, Sachdeva remarked, "The Delhi Chief Minister has declared that the Budget Session will commence on March 24. This initiative to invite citizens from diverse backgrounds for discussions and suggestions is indeed laudable."
"Whether it involves women, traders, or various other groups, this strategy guarantees that the budget will cater to the people, created by the people. The Prime Minister has explicitly mentioned that transforming Delhi into a modern capital is a priority, and this will serve as the initial step toward achieving that goal," he added.
Earlier today, CM Gupta revealed that the Budget for the national capital for 2025-26 will be unveiled between March 24 and March 26.
During a press conference, CM Gupta reaffirmed her government’s commitment to meeting the aspirations of the residents of Delhi.
"The people of Delhi entrusted our party with a full majority. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are resolute in our mission to expedite the city's development and welfare," she stated.
Gupta also underscored the significance of inclusive governance, calling on all societal segments to engage actively in the budgeting process.

These priorities will guide the budget," she added.
The upcoming Budget Session is anticipated to tackle vital issues confronting the national capital, reflecting a vision of modern progress and inclusive growth for Delhi.
