Amaravati, Dec 29 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with his former counterpart Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, has conveyed their heartfelt condolences upon the passing of the renowned Islamic scholar, Maulana Mufti Abdul Wahab.

In a message posted on X, the Chief Minister expressed his sorrow over the loss of Mufti Abdul Wahab, who departed this world on Sunday.

"I am profoundly saddened to hear about the passing of the illustrious Islamic scholar, Mufti (Islamic jurist), and respected community leader, Hazrat Maulana Mufti Abdul Wahab Saheb Qasimi Rashadi from Nellore. He has dedicated more than 60 years to the field of Islamic education, imparting knowledge of the Qur’an and Hadith, and serving at the Jamia Noor-ul-Huda Madrasa," he stated.

He further acknowledged that for 50 years, Mufti Abdul Wahab held the position of President of the Andhra Pradesh State Tabligh-e-Jamaat and, since 2008, served as the honorary President of the Andhra Pradesh State Jamiat-ul-Ulama.
