Amaravati, Nov 17 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, have conveyed their heartfelt sorrow regarding the devastating bus accident in Saudi Arabia that resulted in the loss of numerous Umrah pilgrims hailing from Telangana.
"It brings me immense sorrow to learn about the tragic incident in Saudi Arabia that has taken the lives of our brothers and sisters from Telangana who were on the sacred Umrah journey. I pray for their souls to find peace and hope that the grieving families find strength during this trying time," Chief Minister Naidu shared on X.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed his heartbreak over the loss of 42 Indians in this dreadful road mishap near Medina in Saudi Arabia. "Most of the deceased were Muslim pilgrims from Hyderabad. I extend my deepest condolences to their families during this sorrowful time," he stated.
Former Chief Minister and president of the YSR Congress Party, Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, also took to X to share his grief over the incident.
"I am profoundly saddened to hear about the tragic accident in Saudi Arabia. I wish a swift recovery for the injured, and my thoughts are with the families affected. May the departed souls find eternal peace," Jagan Mohan Reddy remarked.
Additionally, the Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resources Development, Nara Lokesh, expressed his shock regarding the calamity. "I am deeply saddened to learn about the Umrah pilgrimage accident that has led to the untimely death of over 42 individuals, including several pilgrims from Telangana. My deepest sympathies are with the bereaved, and I pray for the swift recovery of those injured," he posted as the general secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
Expressing her anguish, Andhra Pradesh state Congress president Y.S. Sharmila stated, "I am deeply pained by the tragic loss of 45 Umrah pilgrims from Telangana in the catastrophic bus-tanker collision in Saudi Arabia. My heartfelt condolences are with their families. I urge the Union Government to provide all necessary support to the victims' families and ensure that the deceased are returned home with the utmost respect," she posted.
