Patna, May 19 (NationPress) Union Minister for Food Processing and chief of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Chirag Paswan, has vehemently criticized the inappropriate remarks made by Madhya Pradesh Minister Vijay Shah regarding Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, a distinguished officer in the Indian Army.
In a media interaction in Hajipur on Monday, Paswan stated: “No one is above the Indian defense forces. Our safety is ensured by our brave soldiers. It is utterly shameful and unacceptable for anyone—be it a minister from Madhya Pradesh or anyone else—to equate our armed forces with the families of terrorists.”
He further emphasized, “If any member of my party had made such a statement, I would have expelled them for life. These remarks are a direct insult to the valor and sacrifices of our soldiers.”
