"While many are preoccupied with transforming everything into concrete for commercial gain, you are focused on preserving the greenery of our city," she commented.
Reiterating the Delhi government's dedication to increasing green coverage, she noted that upon taking her current role, she recognized an urgent requirement to enhance the city's greenery.
"For the first time, the Delhi government has designated 4,200 hectares of ridge area as forest land. We plan to identify another 2,000 hectares of ridge area as forest in the near future," she added.
The annual exhibition featured a diverse array of fruits, vegetables, flowering plants, and innovative kitchen garden models, attracting gardening enthusiasts and environmental advocates from across the city.
