Indore, March 10 (NationPress) Authorities have discovered the remains of a married couple inside their residence located in the Nandpura neighborhood, under the jurisdiction of the Pardeshipura police station in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday. An inquiry into the incident has commenced.

The deceased individuals have been named as Eknath Wagh (43) and his spouse Rohini (40). They were residing in a rented apartment with their two young sons, Mohit (13) and Mayank (16).

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Amrendra Singh stated that the remains have been sent to Indore district hospital for post-mortem examination, and a thorough investigation is underway.

Singh also mentioned that Eknath had sent both of his sons, Mohit and Mayank, to fetch milk from a nearby grocery store. Upon their return, roughly 20 minutes later, they discovered their father hanging and their mother unconscious with a cloth in her mouth.
Devastated by the condition of their parents, the children alerted nearby residents, who subsequently notified the police.
