Synopsis
Key Takeaways
New Delhi, April 4 (NationPress) As part of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Mega Training Campaign 2026, which is designed to enhance cadre and organizational growth, the Delhi BJP conducted night-stay training camps across 61 mandals this past weekend, according to a statement from a party official.
The State BJP President, Virendra Sachdeva, spoke at the session in the Vishwas Nagar mandal, while various senior leaders and state officials conducted sessions in other mandals.
In his address to the party workers, Sachdeva highlighted that the BJP is the sole political entity in India that genuinely prioritizes cadre development.
He noted that through consistent training initiatives, the party is not only informing mandal-level members about its nationalist and cultural agenda but also familiarizing them with the nation-building missions of both the Central and Delhi governments, followed by briefings for senior office bearers.
Sachdeva emphasized that the BJP operates as an ideological party where ongoing training and discussions encourage its members to focus on nation-building and organizational strength, contrasting with members of other parties who often prioritize personal gains and readily switch allegiances.
The Delhi BJP General Secretary and MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat mentioned that the campaign, running every weekend from March 7 to April 14, has already seen the successful organization of night-stay camps in 224 mandals.
She expressed optimism that the training initiative would be completed in all mandals by April 12.
Key speakers this weekend included Delhi unit President Harsh Malhotra, National Co-Incharge of the Mega Training Team Rajkumar Sharma, Delhi Campaign Head Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Co-Incharge Sumit Bhasin, and MPs Yogendra Chandolia and Ramvir Singh Bidhuri.
Notable speakers also included State General Secretary Vishnu Mittal, former State President Adesh Gupta, and Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, among others.
Union Minister of State Malhotra remarked that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration embodies a nationalist and cultural government that adheres to the philosophies of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya regarding Integral Humanism and Antyodaya, while also fulfilling Syama Prasad Mookerjee's promise by revoking Article 370 in Kashmir.
