Throughout the day, L-G Sandhu also assessed the security, sanitation, and health conditions with various officials. After a meeting with Rupesh Kumar Thakur, Secretary (Health), and Prashant Goel, Additional Chief Secretary (Food and Civil Supplies), he posted on X, “Stressed the importance of preparedness, collaboration, and effective response.”
The Delhi Police Commissioner and the Municipal Commissioner also welcomed Sandhu during his engagements.
Since taking office as the new Lieutenant Governor of Delhi on March 11, Sandhu has had discussions with Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and her Cabinet members earlier this week.
These meetings focused on development and security challenges.
