Delhi Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh inaugurates DJB pipeline projects in Bawana
Delhi Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh on Sunday, 10 May inaugurated new Delhi Jal Board (DJB) pipeline projects at Village Jat Khor and Kali Mata Mandir in Prakash Vihar, under the Bawana Assembly constituency. The initiative is aimed at ensuring clean, uninterrupted water supply to residents of the area, according to an official statement.
What the Projects Cover
The newly inaugurated pipeline projects are part of a broader civic infrastructure drive spanning water pipelines, road repairs, new footpaths, and drainage systems in the Bawana region. Officials said the works are being accelerated specifically in unauthorised colonies and rural areas that have historically been underserved.
Minister Singh emphasised that development must be measured not by announcements alone, but by whether facilities actually reach citizens' homes. Sewer overflow, waterlogging, and pipeline leakages — longstanding civic grievances in the area — are among the problems the projects are designed to address.
