New Delhi, June 2 (NationPress) Referring to the Delhi government led by Rekha Gupta as a 'no excuse' administration, Forest and Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa asserted on Monday that the entire city governance is dedicated to achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of 'Viksit Delhi'.

“This administration does not offer excuses. PM Modi envisioned a 'Viksit Delhi', and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta committed to realizing it,” Sirsa told IANS.

He criticized the former AAP government for their confrontational stance towards other stakeholders, stating that they were solely focused on grievances to garner sympathy and continue to protest on the streets even today.

“Our government has accomplished a significant amount in just the first 100 days. Efforts to clear garbage commenced, roads are being constructed, new hospitals and health centres are being established, and environmental initiatives have begun. This was unachievable previously, but our administration has made it happen in only a hundred days,” he remarked.

Earlier, Sirsa laid the foundation stone for a road in Rajouri Garden and took part in a tree plantation campaign under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative alongside children.

He stated that the Delhi government is operating at an unprecedented pace, initiating road construction and improvements in drinking water, power supply, and sewerage to address the challenges posed by the underperformance of the previous AAP administration.

Regarding doubts raised by the Congress about 'Operation Sindoor', Sirsa expressed that Congress follows the directives of their MP and Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi.

“When Pakistan poses a question, Congress echoes it,” he claimed.

“This is merely a compulsion for Rahul Gandhi. He receives funds from China and articulates Pakistan's perspective,” Sirsa alleged.

He accused Rahul Gandhi of voicing queries that Pakistan seeks to raise, which then become headlines on television.

He noted that the public is observing Gandhi’s 'step motherly' treatment towards the nation. “Concerns are being raised regarding Rahul Gandhi’s allegiance to the country,” he asserted.

Point of View

It is essential to recognize that the current Delhi government, under Rekha Gupta, has set ambitious goals to transform the city.
