New Delhi, Feb 20 (NationPress) Cabinet ministers from Delhi, Parvesh Verma, Kapil Mishra, and Manjinder Singh Sirsa, expressed optimism regarding the administration of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta fulfilling all commitments made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the Assembly elections.

Verma asserted to IANS that the inaugural Cabinet meeting under CM Gupta will focus on pivotal decisions.

Following the oath-taking ceremony at Ramlila Maidan, Verma remarked, “We appreciate the support from the people of Delhi.”

When questioned about the Yamuna river cleanup, he responded, “All initiatives, including the river’s restoration, are part of our party’s pledge.”

He earlier characterized the day as historic, noting that the BJP is forming a government in Delhi after a span of 27 years.

“The populace has placed their trust in the party, believing that under PM Modi, we will transform Delhi into a modern capital,” he expressed gratitude towards party workers and voters for their substantial endorsement of the BJP.

New Cabinet member Kapil Mishra conveyed to IANS, “The Cabinet is determined to execute projects aligned with PM Modi’s vision.”

He added that the new administration will take decisive action against corruption, a key issue highlighted by the BJP.

Another minister from Delhi, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, stated to IANS, “The Cabinet will strive to actualize PM Modi’s vision in Delhi.”

BJP’s Uttam Nagar representative Pawan Sharma informed IANS that the new administration will swiftly prioritize fulfilling the promises made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“We will proceed with the execution of projects aimed at achieving a developed Delhi,” he stated.

Former Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta told IANS that under the leadership of CM Rekha Gupta, the party aims to transform the national capital into a ‘Viksit Delhi’, including the Yamuna’s restoration.

“We will guide the city on a developmental path as envisioned by PM Modi,” he noted.

He emphasized that the past 10-11 years of misgovernance by the Delhi government will come to an end.

“The team led by CM Gupta will make every effort to bring change to the city,” he concluded.
