Mishra made these remarks to the press after a visit to a temple.

"I extend my heartfelt thanks to Mata Rani and request her blessings to empower me to fulfill PM Modi's vision and to serve our citizens effectively... My visit to the temple is not for personal requests; I am here to show gratitude. PM Modi has a vision for this city, and we will realize it together..." Mishra expressed.

Moreover, he emphasized that everything necessary for Delhi's growth will be addressed. "All this is unfolding with divine blessings," he remarked.

His spouse, Priti Mishra, who accompanied him, expressed her pride and gratitude to PM Modi for including her husband in the Delhi Council of Ministers.

Mishra, a former minister with the Aam Aadmi Party, secured victory from the Karawal Nagar Assembly seat, defeating AAP rival Manoj Kumar Tyagi by a significant margin of 23,355 votes. This constituency is recognized as a BJP stronghold, with only one non-BJP victory in recent history, which occurred when Mishra won on an AAP ticket in 2015. He, however, departed from AAP in 2019 to join the BJP.

I am thankful for the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and Jagat Prakash Nadda... I am particularly grateful that after twelve years, our leadership has restored the position of a Sikh Minister, which was lost due to the policies of the AAP government..."
