Jammu, July 15 (NationPress) Tragedy struck in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Tuesday as four individuals lost their lives and 17 others sustained injuries when a vehicle plummeted into a deep gorge. According to police reports, a tempo traveller lost control in the Ponda area along the Doda-Bhart road this morning.
“A swift rescue operation was initiated following reports of the accident. While four passengers tragically died at the scene, 17 injured individuals were promptly rescued and transported to the hospital for urgent medical care. The rescue efforts are ongoing, and investigations are being conducted to determine the accident's cause,” officials stated.
