Hyderabad, April 6 (NationPress) Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill praised his bowlers after their impressive seven-wicket victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2025 match on Sunday.
Mohammed Siraj achieved his career-best IPL performance, taking 4 wickets for just 17 runs, effectively limiting Hyderabad to 152 runs for 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Rashid Khan and Prasidh Krishna also contributed with two wickets each, dominating the Hyderabad batting lineup.
In response, Gill's unbeaten innings of 61, combined with Washington Sundar's 49 and Sherfane Rutherford's explosive 35 not out, led the team to a resounding victory with 20 balls remaining.

We didn’t have much dialogue; it was about playing quality cricketing shots. Once we established a 30-40 run partnership, we were able to take control of the game,” Gill mentioned.
