New Delhi, April 7 (NationPress) Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj, who continued his impressive IPL 2025 campaign by claiming figures of 4-17 and aiding the Gujarat Titans in a decisive victory over the Sunrisers Hyderabad for their third consecutive win, expressed that performing in front of his friends and family brings a unique emotion.

At the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, the Hyderabad native delivered a remarkable four-wicket haul, limiting SRH to 152/8. His wickets included the explosive opening pair of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma.

“Honestly, showcasing my skills in front of loved ones is a distinct feeling, one that is truly hard to articulate. Since our family doesn't travel frequently, they tend to attend the same venue,” he shared.

“Performing before them is indeed a unique experience. I can’t put that feeling into words right now, but it was quite uplifting,” Siraj told GT captain Shubman Gill during a conversation featured on iplt20.com on Monday.

At the age of 31, Siraj also crossed the 100 IPL wickets mark, adding extra significance to his homecoming match. “Every day brings new lessons for me. My primary goal is to remain satisfied. I prefer not to overthink, focusing instead on the present and savoring every day,” he elaborated.

Captain Shubman Gill then contributed with an unbeaten 61 as GT, champions of their inaugural IPL season in 2022, chased down the target with 20 balls and seven wickets to spare, moving to second place in the points table.

“I felt great. I aimed to conclude this match. The target was manageable. The team atmosphere was excellent. We have secured victories three times in a row. We have evolved as a cohesive unit,” he remarked.

GT will face the Rajasthan Royals, captained by Sanju Samson, in their next IPL 2025 match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on April 9.
