New Delhi, Oct 6 (NationPress) Union Minister Giriraj Singh fiercely countered the claims made by the Mahagathbandhan leaders regarding their alliance's potential to form the next government in Bihar, likening their assertions to the whimsical dreams of the fictional character 'Mungerilal'.
"They are just living in a fantasy world like Mungerilal. While Rahul Gandhi is overseas, Tejashwi Yadav will also vanish post-elections. Why would anyone choose to vote for them?" Singh challenged.
He urged them to reflect on their political performance over the last 15 years, while confidently asserting that the NDA would showcase its own record spanning 20 years of governance.
"They need to provide a detailed account of their 15 years, and we will present our 20. Let's engage in a dialogue centered on development. They have attempted to mislead the people of Bihar using the 'SIR' campaign but have failed to name a single prime ministerial candidate. The NDA government is assured to regain power with absolute certainty," Singh declared.
As a BJP MP from Begusarai, Singh accused the grand alliance of deceiving voters through their 'SIR' initiative and reiterated his belief that the Nitish Kumar-led NDA will govern Bihar again, with a focus on development being the primary concern in this electoral battle.
Singh highlighted the NDA's achievements in infrastructure, citing numerous projects launched across the state under PM Modi as tangible proof of effective governance.
He emphasized that the electorate should evaluate the coalition that prioritizes progress rather than engages in divisive tactics.
Concurrently, leaders from the INDIA bloc remain optimistic about their alliance's chances in Bihar. Various opposition parties are set to announce seat-sharing strategies soon to present a unified front against the NDA.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has reaffirmed collaborative efforts among parties in Bihar, pledging to release a common manifesto shortly. The CPI(M) also expressed confidence that the INDIA bloc can outpace the NDA in the forthcoming elections.
This political landscape unfolds against the backdrop of the Election Commission's team evaluating poll readiness in Bihar. In a late-evening meeting on Sunday, it is understood that the partners in the Mahagathbandhan reached an agreement regarding seat allocation and leadership matters.
A formal statement regarding these developments is anticipated in two days, as indicated by VIP chief Mukesh Sahni.
