During the Assembly discussions, Rural Development Minister Kunvarji Bavaliya emphasized that the budget is designed to boost employment prospects in rural areas, enhance housing for rural families, and promote women's economic involvement.

Bavaliya stated, "The anticipated 'Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G Ram G)' will ensure rural workers receive 125 days of guaranteed employment instead of the previous 100 days. We have allocated Rs 1,500 crore for this initiative."

These delayed houses will receive an extra Rs 50,000 each through full state funding, totaling a provision of Rs 90 crore.

In addressing rural employment and the economic empowerment of women, Bavaliya mentioned that more than 5.96 lakh women in Gujarat have become "Lakhpati Didis."

"To further support these women, the government has introduced a new provision of Rs 47.25 crore for interest subsidies on loans and incentives for their businesses," he noted.

To enhance market access for self-help groups, the government intends to establish "Gram Haats (markets)" at pilgrimage and tourist destinations with a budget of Rs 20 crore, where products created by women's groups can be marketed.
