Gandhinagar, Feb 26 (NationPress) The board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 commenced today across Gujarat. The state's MoS for Education, Rivaba Jadeja, visited an exam center in Gandhinagar district, encouraging students to approach their tests with confidence instead of anxiety.
Jadeja made her way to the M.B. Patel English Medium Secondary and Higher Secondary School located in Sector-23, Kadi Campus, where she interacted with students preparing for their exams.
While addressing students at the center, she referred to examinations as a “festival” and urged them to maintain a calm demeanor while completing their papers.
“Think of examinations as a festival—celebrate it with joy. This is a crucial step in shaping your future, not something to fear. Keep your mind serene and enjoy this examination festival with confidence,” she stated.
The minister warmly greeted students, gifting each one a flower, a pen, and a writing pad as a symbol of encouragement.
In line with the tradition of starting important tasks on a sweet note, she also distributed sugar to students, wishing them all the best for their success.
During her visit, Jadeja engaged with the school management to review the arrangements at the examination center.
She assessed the facilities provided to students and checked security measures, including the installation of CCTV cameras.
Jadeja praised the school authorities for creating a stress-free environment for students during their examinations.
Among those in attendance were Gandhinagar North MLA Rita Patel, State Wala Yojana Chairperson Dharmishtha Gajjar, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya President Vallabhai Patel, and senior officials from the Education Department.
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is overseeing the Class 10 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Class 12 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations for the academic year 2025–26, starting today.
The examination period will extend until mid-March, with approximately 16.63 lakh students participating at centers statewide.
Authorities have confirmed that extensive arrangements are in place to ensure security and support for students throughout the examination period.
