Jammu, December 15 (NationPress) - A fierce gunfight erupted on Monday evening in J&K's Udhampur district between the joint security forces and suspected terrorists affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), according to officials. IGP Jammu, Bhim Sen Tuti, announced on X that engagement with the terrorists began following precise intelligence from the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
A coordinated operation is currently underway, involving the Special Operations Group (SOG), the Army, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
