Chandigarh, Feb 20 (NationPress) Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, on the initial day of the Budget session here on Friday, announced the dissolution of the Housing Board Haryana, integrating it into the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran. This strategic move aims to improve efficiency, enhance housing services, and reinforce urban planning coherence.

CM Saini emphasized that the roles of the Housing Board and the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran were quite similar. He assured the assembly that the rights of all Housing Board employees have been thoroughly protected.

This resolution was enacted under sub-section (1) of Section 80 of the Haryana Housing Board Act of 1971. Consequently, all responsibilities previously held by the board will now be transferred to the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran.
