New Delhi, April 15 (NationPress) On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his warm wishes to the people of Himachal Pradesh in celebration of Himachal Day, expressing hopes for a flourishing future for the state.

Every year on April 15, Himachal Pradesh Day is celebrated to mark the formation of the state in 1948 as a Chief Commissioner's province. This region was established by uniting 30 princely states, evolving into a Part C state in 1950, a Union Territory in 1956, and ultimately achieving full statehood as the 18th Indian state on January 25, 1971.

In a message shared on X, PM Modi stated, "Warm greetings on Himachal Day to all residents of this sacred land. This Devbhoomi possesses a distinct identity owing to its abundant traditions, remarkable cultural legacy, and the diligence, duty, and humility exhibited by its people.
