New Delhi, March 1 (NationPress) Ghaziabad's Hindon Airport is gearing up to enhance its flight offerings, providing increased convenience for travelers. Starting this Saturday, direct flights to Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Goa will be available. Furthermore, services to Chennai and Jammu are scheduled to begin on March 22.

Air India Express has already initiated online bookings for these five routes. This expansion means that passengers from Ghaziabad and surrounding areas will no longer need to commute to Delhi Airport for flights to these destinations.

Previously, Hindon Airport only offered direct flights to five locations: Bathinda, Ludhiana, Kishangarh, Adampur, and Nanded. The addition of flights to Bengaluru, Kolkata, Goa, Chennai, and Jammu marks a significant improvement in connectivity.

On March 22, alongside the new routes to Chennai and Jammu, a second daily flight to Bengaluru will also be introduced. Plans are in motion to initiate services to Prayagraj, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Pune, and Mumbai, further bolstering Hindon Airport’s network.

This expansion will allow Air India Express to operate from two airports within the National Capital Region (NCR) - Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad.
