New Delhi, Dec 30 (IAF) Powered Hang Gliding, Parasailing, and a Drone show were the standout features at a Winter Adventure Camp organized for 120 children of Air Warriors from the Central Air Command at the Air Force Station Bamrauli in Prayagraj, as stated by an official.
Taking place from December 23 to 27, the camp allowed children to ascend into the skies while engaging in exhilarating activities such as Powered Hang Gliding, Parasailing, a Drone show, Air Rifle Shooting, and a Treasure hunt, as per the Central Air Command's official announcement.
Additionally, vital lifesaving skills like CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), and firefighting were imparted, molding confident, resilient, and responsible future leaders. The children also explored the heritage sites of Anand Bhawan, Swaraj Bhawan, and OD Fort in Prayagraj, according to the official's statement on social media.
Previously, the Air Force Station Agra underwent an operational readiness inspection led by the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, Air Marshal B. Manikantan, on December 22 and 23, as reported on social media.
Upon arrival, the AOC-in-C received a ceremonial guard of honor. Following this, the Air Marshal evaluated the operational readiness of the base, reviewed infrastructure improvements, recent advancements at the base, and interacted with key personnel, as detailed in the statement.
Accompanying him was the President of AFFWA (Regional), Nirmala T. Manikantan, who assessed various welfare initiatives being executed by AFFWA at the base.

On December 21, demonstrating a remarkable instance of civil-military cooperation, a tigress was relocated from Pench Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh to Rajasthan’s Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve using an IAF Mi-17V5 helicopter, as stated by the Central Air Command.
This critical operation was executed through meticulous planning and extensive collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. This event is part of a larger project aimed at relocating big cats, according to the statement shared on social media.
