IAF Chief Participates in NCC at Republic Day Camp 2025

New Delhi, Jan 9 (NationPress) The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh attended the NCC Republic Day Camp 2025 at Delhi Cantonment on Wednesday.

In preparation for the upcoming Republic Day Parade in the national capital, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) is set to participate in the grand event on January 26 at Kartavya Path.

He emphasized the importance of the values instilled in cadets during training, including discipline, selfless service, nation-building, and a strong code of conduct. He urged cadets to hold onto these principles throughout their lives.

Air Chief Marshal Singh inspired the cadets to uphold the NCC motto of 'Unity and Discipline' and to embody this pledge in all aspects of life, whether in uniform or not.

The CAS highlighted that the NCC Republic Day Camp provides cadets with the chance to interact with peers from diverse cultures, religions, and regions, thereby reinforcing the 'Unity in Diversity' ethos of India.

He commended the cadets for their exceptional and engaging performances during the event.

The CAS inspected the 'Guard of Honour' presented by cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NCC.

This was succeeded by a captivating band display performed by cadets from Scindia School, Gwalior.

The Air Chief Marshal also reviewed the 'Flag Area', created by cadets from all 17 NCC Directorates, focusing on various social awareness themes.

Additionally, the CAS toured the 'Hall of Fame', where he was briefed about the history, training, and achievements of the NCC.

Later, alongside other esteemed guests, the Air Chief Marshal enjoyed a 'Cultural Programme' showcased by cadets from different Directorates, featuring an enchanting display of Indian culture through ballet, group dances, and songs.

A total of 2,361 NCC cadets from across the nation are taking part in this month-long Republic Day camp, which commenced on December 30 and will conclude with the Prime Minister's Rally on January 27. This annual event includes 917 girl cadets, marking the largest contingent to date.
