Three flights of the Indian Air Force (IAF) Chinook helicopters successfully evacuated a total of 135 devotees from Bharmour to the district headquarters.
A spokesperson from the government stated that as the weather cleared after several days of intermittent rains, "it is anticipated that all the devotees will be evacuated safely to their respective destinations."
