New Delhi, March 25 (NationPress) Actor-singer Indrajith Sukumaran, the elder sibling of Prithviraj Sukumaran, has expressed admiration for his brother, noting that the actor-director possesses exceptional clarity regarding his expectations from everyone involved.
Reflecting on their collaborative experiences, Indrajith mentioned to IANS: “We have participated in numerous films together as co-stars. I believe we have collaborated on around 7 or 8 projects, but Lucifer marked my initial experience working with him in the dual role of actor and director.”
“It was a delightful experience because he has a clear vision of what he seeks from everyone, including both the actors and the crew. As an actor himself, he finds it easy to communicate... he has the script, dialogues, and character traits firmly in his mind. Thus, he knows precisely how he wants his characters to act, speak, and move, which simplifies the process for any actor,” he elaborated.
Indrajith emphasized that effective communication is critical, having previously starred in films like Ezhamathe Varavu, Amar Akbar Anthony, Virus, Halal Love Story, and Kurup.
“When you are a skilled actor and the director communicates well with you, much of the work is already accomplished because you understand the director's vision. I believe that an actor must align with the director's expectations, and you simply deliver what is required,” he said.
“In that sense, he is very clear about his requirements, making the entire process smoother. Working with him has always been enjoyable; Lucifer was our first film, and Empuraan is the second installment, featuring the same character but with a more extensive narrative. It’s perpetually a delight to collaborate with him,” he added.
L2: Empuraan is an action thriller directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. This film is the second part of a planned trilogy, succeeding the 2019 hit Lucifer.
The movie boasts a stellar cast, including Mohanlal, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Abhimanyu Singh, Eriq Ebouaney, Jerome Flynn, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
L2: Empuraan is scheduled for release on March 27.
