Srinagar, Nov 1 (NationPress) The Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, emphasized the importance of nurturing cultural and spiritual connections, celebrating our shared heritage, and fostering a cohesive Indian identity during the Foundation Day festivities for 13 States and Union Territories held at Raj Bhawan.
The event marked the Foundation Day of 13 States and Union Territories, which include Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Delhi, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry, and was attended by Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.
In his address, the Lt Governor highlighted that celebrating the Foundation Day of various States and UTs serves as a vital tool for cultural unity.
"It represents unity in diversity and shared faith. Our strength lies in unity, empowering us to pursue a common vision for a thriving and developed India," he remarked.
He urged citizens to reinforce cultural and spiritual ties, honor collective heritage, and advocate for a unified Indian identity.
“I firmly believe that the cultural, spiritual, and emotional connections established across the diverse languages and cultures of our nation can drive significant progress.

He also praised the artists for their impressive performances of folk songs and folk dances representing various States and Union Territories.
