Did Jennifer Garner Really Bite a Stunt Performer’s Ear?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Los Angeles, Feb 5 (NationPress) - Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner revealed that she inadvertently harmed a stuntman during the shooting of the 2007 action-packed film The Kingdom, which starred Jamie Foxx and Chris Cooper.
Garner recounted to the media: "The director, Pete Berg, instructed him to attempt to overpower me. Our choreography was minimal, and he told me to do whatever I could to survive. He went for it, and so did I, leading to me scrambling onto his back."
"In the heat of the moment, I bit his ear, and there’s a photograph showing him missing a piece of his ear because we were serious about our roles," she added.
Garner humorously compared her ear-biting incident to Mike Tyson biting off part of Evander Holyfield's ear back in 1997, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.
In jest, she warned: "Don’t provoke me. I may seem nice, but I have given you a fair warning."
In another instance, Garner mentioned her experience of being trapped in an elevator for over an hour during San Diego Comic-Con 2024.
She shared on social media that she was waiting a long time to be rescued during the event.
On Instagram, she explained: "Hey everyone, we are stuck in this elevator [and] I could use a Wolverine; I could use a Deadpool. We are searching for the stairs. Thanks for having us here. It’s my first Comic-Con!"
Garner attended the event for the first time after her appearance in the superhero films Deadpool and Wolverine.
Previously married to fellow actor Ben Affleck, she humorously added: "I’m schvitzy (and) I need to blot. We’ve heard 'Don’t cut the blue wire'. I think I learned that from an episode of 'The Office' or 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine', so we’re sitting down."
