Key Takeaways

Jennifer Garner uses her dance background to enhance her fight scenes.
The physical demands of action roles can be challenging but rewarding.
Her experience at San Diego Comic-Con was both humorous and memorable.

Los Angeles, Feb 12 (NationPress) Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner, known for her role as Hannah Hall in the suspenseful series “The Last Thing He Told Me”, believes her background in dance significantly contributed to her ability to execute action sequences.

The 53-year-old performer, who initially trained in ballet before transitioning to acting, shared with Extra: “You harness that physicality and everything you invest in dance. It’s like combining that with a scene where the stakes are incredibly high, requiring you to engage your entire body to achieve the scene, and that’s what excites me about performing fight scenes.”

However, Garner admitted that the demanding nature of her character had its repercussions.

She remarked: “Yeah, you're bruised up, but in a positive way.”

In other news, Garner recently revealed that she found herself trapped in an elevator for over an hour during San Diego Comic-Con in 2024, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.

On Instagram, she explained: “Hey, everyone, we’re stuck on this elevator (and) I could use a Wolverine; I could use a Deadpool. I could use someone (and) we’re looking for stairs. Thanks for having us here. My first Comic Con!”

This marked her first appearance at the event following her roles in the superhero films Deadpool and Wolverine.

She humorously commented on her predicament while awaiting help.

The actress, who was previously married to fellow Hollywood star Ben Affleck, said: “I’m schvitzy (and) I need to blot. 'Don’t cut the blue wire’ is what we’re hearing. I think I picked that up from an episode of 'The Office' or 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' or something; you’re supposed to sit, so we’re sitting.”
