In her post, Jyotika credited director Chidambaram for the film’s craft and writer Jeethu Madhavan for an “intriguing and constantly surprising screenplay” that blends “empathy, mystery, innocence, and criminal instinct so smoothly.” She described the result as “a masterpiece to watch.”

She also highlighted actress Farzana Palathingal, calling her “a revelation on screen” who delivers “a strong embodiment of womanhood.” The child actors Adhisheshan K. R. and Sinan also drew her attention, with Jyotika noting their “innocence and depth in the eyes pierce straight into the viewer’s heart.” She gave a special mention to Dolly June as the old lady, calling it “a freshly crafted character and bold performance.”
