Patna, Feb 17 (NationPress) Prashant Kishor, the leader of Jan Suraaj, has criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for placing more importance on his political role than on the development of the state.
Kishor expressed that the citizens of Bihar are increasingly unhappy with Nitish Kumar’s governance and are ready to vote him out in the next elections.
He pointed out that the current political relationship between the BJP and JD-U has created a dependency that obstructs effective governance.
“The BJP is hesitant to confront Nitish Kumar to preserve its own national power. This political dynamic has been recognized by the voters, who are now ready to show their displeasure at the polls,” Kishor remarked.
He challenged Nitish Kumar to identify his cabinet ministers and their departments without any notes, questioning his awareness of his administration.
Kishor stated that if Kumar could accomplish this, he would cease his campaign against him and offer his support again.
He also noted that despite sharing platforms with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nitish Kumar has failed to make substantial demands for Bihar’s industrial growth.
“Unlike other states like Gujarat, which are developing plans for new industries, Bihar lacks clear initiatives for establishing factories across its districts. This neglect exacerbates the ongoing unemployment issues faced by the youth in the state,” Kishor explained.
Highlighting the increasing public discontent, Kishor insisted that the people of Bihar are losing faith in Nitish Kumar’s leadership.
“If the Chief Minister were truly dedicated to the state’s advancement, he would champion the creation of industries in every district,” he added.
Kishor also inquired whether Kumar had ever made specific requests to the Union government to enhance Bihar’s industrial sector.
He stressed that for Bihar to move forward, the administration must focus on real development rather than political maneuvering.
