She specifically addressed the widely circulated visuals of herself and Govinda visiting a Ganpati Bappa temple together, insisting it was a professional event tied to the promotion of their upcoming film ‘Roopa’. “Since when did going before Ganpati Bappa alongside my Hero and praying for the success of my upcoming Film, ‘Roopa’, become a matter of shame, a national issue or ‘Dikhawa’ for others?” she asked. She pointedly noted that many of her critics do the same with their own male co-stars during film promotions without facing similar scrutiny.
