Mumbai, March 29 (NationPress) Actress Kubbra Sait had the honor of opening the show for designer Namrata Joshipura at the Lakmé Fashion Week 2025.

Reflecting on her experience, the 'Sacred Games' star expressed, "It is incredible, the lighting, the sound, the music, the attire, everything was just fantastic- the energy was outstanding. This marked my first ramp walk as a show opener, and that's a significant milestone- it’s monumental, I’m celebrating this moment right now."

Kubbra also shared insights on what happens to a collection after the runway show.

"It goes to prestigious stores, and many esteemed individuals get the opportunity to wear this remarkable collection - but more importantly, I believe it's vital to understand what we wear - you should invest your thoughts into selecting the garments you choose to don. I am proud to say that every single piece in this collection by Namrata Joshipura, which is an athleisure collection, has been crafted from recycled PET bottles- thus, it’s sustainable, it’s fantastic, it’s gentle on your skin, it’s beneficial for your heart and your awareness," she shared.

On the work front, Kubbra will star in the much-anticipated sequel of the hit web series, 'The Trial Season 2'. She will appear alongside Kajol in this drama series, which is based on Robert King and Michelle King's 'The Good Wife'.

Additionally, Kubbra's upcoming projects include Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur's 'Son of Sardar 2'. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Ajay Devgn produced this film under his banner Devgn Films in collaboration with Jio Studios. This film is a sequel to the 2012 movie 'Son of Sardaar', featuring Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha.

Moreover, Kubbra has also been cast in David Dhawan's untitled comedic film alongside Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Maniesh Paul.
