Mumbai, Nov 24 (NationPress) Actress Kubbra Sait is gearing up for an exciting 12-day rafting adventure on the Brahmaputra river, and she has expressed that it's going to be an incredible journey.
The inspiration for this adventure began when she first experienced rafting on the Kali River near Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand.
Kubbra remarked, “This has been a long-standing dream of mine. I am looking forward to this wild experience.”
Last year, she conquered Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. For her upcoming trip, she will arrive in Dibrugarh, Assam, before joining her expedition team.
Reflecting on her most significant challenge, she mentioned that the true rewards come from stepping outside of one's comfort zone and confronting nature directly.
She stated, “Facing genuine fears in these expeditions makes my career challenges seem trivial. Surviving nature's trials diminishes the fear of failed projects or lack of acceptance. It’s a profound reset—free from luxuries, just pure focus and connection.”
Kubbra also shared insights she gained while rafting on the Ganga.
“I finally grasped the essence of ‘go with the flow’. The river flows for no one. When disconnected from technology and enveloped by nature, silence becomes a part of the experience. During lengthy expeditions, there’s no service and no distractions, allowing your bond with nature to strengthen.”
As she reflects on her year, Kubbra recalls her journey to Mahakumbh with her close friends.
On the cinematic front, she is preparing for the release of David Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and Prakash Jha’s Laal Batti.
Kubbra has featured in films like Ready, Sultan, Gully Boy, Deva, and Son of Sardaar 2. Her television appearances include TVF Tripling, RejctX, The Verdict – State vs Nanavati, Farzi, Shehar Lakhot, and The Trial. She gained widespread acclaim for her role as Kukoo in the inaugural season of Netflix's Sacred Games and as Phara Keaen in Foundation.
