This past Saturday, she took to her Instagram to reflect on an emotional milestone from 2009, the year she left her corporate role at a tech MNC to pursue her dreams in Mumbai.

In her post, she shared several throwback images, including photos from her portfolio shoot. Alongside these visuals, she wrote a heartfelt note detailing her journey.

She expressed, “Circa 2009. Somewhere between spreadsheets and dreams, I decided to leave my position at Microsoft and move to Mumbai. Everyone told me I needed a 'portfolio', that mythical ticket to the big city. Mine was captured by a generous photographer in Dubai, Sunith Shyam, right after I was crowned Miss Personality at Miss India Worldwide. I vividly remember the pride I felt when I framed that first photo, my initial real step towards a life and career I had yet to embark on. Today, years later, I revisited that old frame.”

She continued, “The photograph had aged, the glass had adhered to it, and when I pulled it out, a piece remained behind. Just like memories do. Some aspects fade, while others persist, but the courage that began in that frame, still endures.”
