New Delhi, April 13 (NationPress) Andhra Pradesh's Minister for Human Resources Development, Nara Lokesh, along with NDA MPs representing the state, visited President Droupadi Murmu on Monday to express their appreciation for her approval of the Bill that grants statutory recognition to Amaravati as the exclusive and permanent capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Minister Lokesh shared on the social media platform X that it was an honor to meet President Murmu and to convey the profound gratitude of millions of Andhra Pradesh residents for her endorsement of the Bill that designates Amaravati as the state capital.

As the General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Nara Lokesh highlighted that President Murmu graciously recognized the remarkable resilience and dedication of the farmers, alongside the unwavering leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, in achieving the long-awaited clarity regarding the state capital.

“I was also privileged to present her with a coffee table book that chronicles Amaravati's journey and the inspiring narrative of our farmers' struggle,” stated Minister Lokesh, who is the son of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
