The victim, recognized as Raushan Kumar (26), was transported to Magadh Medical College and Hospital in a critical state, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
An official representative from the Gaya police reported that Raushan had a dispute with certain villagers, thought to be connected to an old feud.
While the precise cause of the clash is yet to be determined, the victim’s family has raised concerns regarding a potential premeditated assault.
Following the event, turmoil erupted in the locality. Furious relatives and villagers protested in the streets, demanding the swift apprehension of those responsible and a thorough investigation.
