The Union Minister is scheduled to participate in the Maha Kumbh, where he will immerse himself in the Triveni Sangam, the revered junction of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.

In a post on X, Amit Shah stated (in Hindi), "Mahakumbh is a distinct symbol of the unbroken flow of Sanatan culture. Kumbh embodies our timeless philosophy of life rooted in harmony. Today, I am eager to take a dip in the confluence and seek the blessings of the saints during this grand festival of unity and integrity in the holy city of Prayagraj."

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will accompany the Home Minister during this important occasion.

HM Shah will perform the sacred bath on the 15th day of the Maha Kumbh.

According to the itinerary, Amit Shah will land at Bamrauli Airport at 11.25 a.m., then take a helicopter to the DPS helipad at 11.50 a.m., and reach Arail Ghat by noon. From there, he will travel by boat to the VIP Jetty, arriving at 12.15 p.m.

During a recent tour in Gujarat, Shah emphasized the cultural importance of the Maha Kumbh, encouraging everyone to participate in this once-in-every-144-years event.

"Kumbh conveys a message of harmony and unity. It does not inquire about one's religion, sect, or caste. Food is available without bias. No other event in the world communicates a stronger message of unity than the Maha Kumbh," he remarked.

The Home Minister also urged the youth of Gujarat to experience the Maha Kumbh, revealing he has attended Kumbh nine times throughout his life and has also witnessed the Ardh Kumbh.

Meanwhile, a Dharma Sansad will be organized in the fair area to unite followers of Sanatan Dharma from across the nation. The Virat Sanatan Dharma Sansad will take place at the Shanti Seva Camp in Sector 17, led by spiritual leader Devkinandan Thakur. This assembly will include participation from Shankaracharyas, heads of 13 Akharas, and various sadhus and saints nationwide.

The Dharma Sansad aims to promote unity among adherents of Sanatan Dharma. The Maha Kumbh, one of the most significant Hindu festivals, began on January 13 with the 'Pavitra Snan' and celebrated its second day on Makar Sankranti, aligning with the 'Amrit Snan.'
