Mahakumbh: 12 Dedicated Units with Changing Facilities Established at Sangam for Female Pilgrims

Mahakumbh Nagar, Dec 12 (NationPress) The Yogi Adityanath administration in Uttar Pradesh has prioritized making Mahakumbh 2025 the most magnificent occasion in the history of Sanatan Dharma, taking all necessary actions to guarantee that the pilgrimage offers an 'extraordinary' experience for both local and international pilgrims visiting the city in January-February of the upcoming year.
Special provisions are being organized to improve the safety and comfort of female devotees.
According to SDM Mahakumbh Nagar, Abhinav Pathak, 12 dedicated units are being established to serve women pilgrims at the Sangam.
Every unit will measure 25 meters in length and 6 meters in width, outfitted with changing rooms to provide convenience after rituals and bathing.
Moreover, old and worn-out boats are being removed from the Sangam vicinity and replaced with newly constructed floating jetties.
These jetties will be decorated with vibrant flowers to enhance their aesthetic appeal.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a review of the preparations in Mahakumbh Nagar on Thursday, prior to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the city.
Following his guidance, arrangements are being made at the Sangam to facilitate smooth rituals and worship.
To assist devotees and avoid any complications, Brahmins, priests, and pandas will be present at the site to help with performing rituals.
A distinctive 'Har Ghar Jal' village is also being constructed at Mahakumbh 2025.
Spanning an area of 40,000 square feet and themed “Solution to Drinking Water: The Identity of My Village”, the village will also feature a ‘Jal Mandir’, representing the life-sustaining essence of water and highlighting the significance of conservation.
This initiative will recount the inspiring journey of providing tap water to every household in Bundelkhand under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Devotees, tourists, and Kalpvasis will witness inspiring transformation tales of 'New Villages' in a 'New Uttar Pradesh' as part of a 'New India.'
