Mahakumbh Takes Center Stage Globally at Tourism Expos in Spain and Germany

Mahakumbh Nagar, Jan 4 (NationPress) In a significant initiative aimed at positioning Uttar Pradesh as a premier global tourist destination, the Yogi Adityanath government is preparing to showcase the state's tourism offerings at the International Tourism Trade Fairs in Madrid, Spain, and Berlin, Germany.

The Mahakumbh, taking place in Uttar Pradesh, will be highlighted as a cultural heritage of humanity, emphasizing its spiritual, historical, and cultural importance. This grand gathering of followers of Sanatan Dharma not only signifies a religious and spiritual event but also embodies India's rich historical legacy.

To promote this message worldwide, the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department has meticulously planned to present the magnificence on an international platform, ensuring maximum visibility at both tourism fairs.

Invitations will also be extended globally for visitors to experience this splendid event while showcasing other diverse tourism offerings and unique attractions of Uttar Pradesh.

The tourism fairs will feature thematic grand pavilions that focus on Mahakumbh 2025 and Uttar Pradesh's rich cultural heritage.

A 40-square-meter pavilion will be constructed at the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR), taking place from January 24 to 28 in Madrid, Spain, displaying the tourism attractions of Uttar Pradesh.

In a similar manner, another 40-square-meter pavilion will be set up at the ITB Berlin Fair, scheduled for March 4 to 6, 2025, in Berlin, Germany.

To maximize global engagement, VVIP lounges will be created at both fairs, facilitating B2B and B2C sessions. Promotional materials will be available in various languages, including English and local European languages, to ensure a broader outreach.

In addition to promoting Uttar Pradesh as 'Brand UP', the land of Buddha and Sanatan faith, discussions will be held with key stakeholders from major tourism sectors and potential investors to attract foreign investments in the state's favorable environment.

Engagement will also be established with diverse representatives from the tourism sector, including tour operators from host countries and neighboring regions.

Moreover, Uttar Pradesh's cultural heritage will be emphasized alongside the promotion of ODOP (One District One Product) items and other traditional products from the state.
