Maharashtra: BJP Plans 'Ghar Chalo Abhiyan' on January 10 for Membership Enrollment

Mumbai, Jan 7 (NationPress) In alignment with the ongoing Sanghatan Parva of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), a 'Ghar Chalo Abhiyan' is planned for January 10 to facilitate primary member registrations.

According to the Maharashtra BJP president, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, all party ministers, public representatives from the Panchayat to Parliament levels, and office bearers are expected to contribute to this initiative.

Bawankule expressed optimism that the party's goal of registering 1.5 crore primary members will be successfully met. He informed the press that the membership registration initiative is part of the party's Sanghatan Parva campaign.

On January 5, numerous key leaders, public representatives, and office bearers, including Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, engaged in the drive at the booth level. On January 10, these prominent figures will aim to visit at least 40-50 homes in each booth to register new primary members.

Bawankule noted that following the primary member registration, the campaign for 'Sakriya Sadasya' (active member) registration will commence.

By registering 5 active members in a single booth, the party aims to enroll 5 lakh active members across the state.

He also conveyed confidence that the citizens of Maharashtra will positively respond to the member registration drive, supporting the visions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a developed India and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for a prosperous Maharashtra.

The BJP is currently in coalition with Shiv Sena and the Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party within the MahaYuti government in Maharashtra.

Under the leadership of Devendra Fadnavis as Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde from Shiv Sena serves as his deputy, alongside Ajit Pawar as another Deputy Chief Minister.
