New Delhi, Sep 22 (NationPress) Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan characterized Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “a living inspiration for millions both nationally and internationally” during the release of two volumes of his speeches on Monday.
At the event organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Vice-President noted that PM Modi inspires individuals to put forth their utmost efforts through his exemplary actions.
“The Prime Minister has transitioned from being a representative of the common citizen to a genuine people's leader, demonstrating that the impossible can indeed become possible, Namumkin ko Mumkin karna, Asambhav ko Sambhav Karna,” Radhakrishnan stated.
The Vice-President unveiled the two volumes titled ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’, which encompass the fourth and fifth years of PM Modi’s second term.
He remarked that these volumes of the Prime Minister’s speeches act as keys to comprehending his contributions, vision, and aspirations for the nation.
Outlining the contents, which include 76 speeches and 12 Mann Ki Baat addresses for 2022-23, alongside 82 speeches and 9 Mann Ki Baat addresses for 2023-24 organized into 11 thematic sections, the Vice-President emphasized their reflection of the Prime Minister’s clear thought process, forward-looking vision, and dedication to inclusive governance.
He also commended the Publications Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, for their meticulous selection and elegant presentation of these speeches.
Quoting Swami Vivekananda, “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached,” the Vice-President noted that each speech by the Prime Minister conveys a similar message of persistence, determination, and societal welfare.
He stressed that these speeches embody PM Modi’s vision of ensuring that government initiatives reach every individual in society.
Radhakrishnan highlighted the Prime Minister’s contributions to revitalizing India’s cultural identity through projects such as ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, ‘Kashi Tamil Sangamam’, ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas’, and the renaming of Rajpath in Delhi to Kartavya Path.
Regarding youth empowerment, the Vice-President applauded programs like Startup India, Fit India, Khelo India, Skill India, and Rozgar Melas, labeling them as foundational pillars for a prosperous India by 2047.
He also pointed out the launch of Mera Yuva Bharat (My Bharat) as an initiative that embodies faith in the nation’s youth.
Referring to India’s G20 Presidency, the Vice-President praised the historic inclusion of the African Union as a permanent member, highlighting PM Modi’s vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world as one family.
He articulated that the Prime Minister’s speeches encompass a “360-degree engagement”, addressing global agendas while fostering transformative local initiatives like Vocal for Local, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. He noted how these programs align with the Sustainable Development Goals and instigate tangible change in people's lives.
The Vice-President also emphasized that through initiatives such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Aadhaar-Mobile linkage, Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Lakhpati Didi, PM-KISAN for farmers, Mudra Yojana, and PM SVANidhi, over 25 crore individuals have been lifted out of extreme poverty in the last decade.
