New Delhi, Oct 9 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his heartfelt appreciation on Thursday after Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan sent warm congratulations on his milestone of 24 years in public service, marking the transition into his 25th year as the leader of the government — first serving as Chief Minister of Gujarat and subsequently as Prime Minister of India.

In response to the Vice President’s message on X, PM Modi stated, “I am grateful for your kind sentiments, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan Ji. It is a privilege to serve our nation and strive towards realizing the dreams and expectations of 140 crore Indians.”

Vice President Radhakrishnan, in his congratulatory message, praised PM Modi’s remarkable journey from Gujarat to the national platform, emphasizing his vision of “Rashtra Pratham”, which he credited for elevating India from the “fragile five” economies to now being the world’s fourth-largest economy.

“My sincere congratulations to our esteemed Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi Ji as he completes 24 years of devoted service and embarks on the 25th illustrious year as Head of Government — first at the state level and now as the Pradhan Sevak of Bharat,” the VP stated in a post on X on Wednesday.

He acknowledged the Prime Minister’s leadership for lifting 25 crore individuals out of extreme poverty and for leading significant national initiatives including Atmanirbhar Bharat, cultural revival, and programs aimed at empowering the underprivileged.

“Your vision of Rashtra Pratham has reshaped India from a fragile five economy to the fourth largest economy. It has lifted 25 crore individuals out of extreme poverty. Your journey motivates millions, grounded in Dharma, Kartavya Bodh & Seva Bhav. From empowering the poor, fostering Atmanirbhar Bharat, to rejuvenating India’s cultural heritage, your leadership illuminates the path for a Viksit Bharat by 2047,” the VP added.

He concluded, “May you continue to lead our nation with strength, vision, and unwavering commitment.”

As PM Modi enters his 25th year in governance, numerous messages from national leaders and cabinet ministers commended his extensive service and management style.

Home Minister Amit Shah referred to PM Modi’s journey as “a testament to steadfast dedication and strategic leadership that has transformed India’s position on the global stage.”

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh remarked that PM Modi’s governance has “instilled both resilience and confidence within India’s institutions and its populace.”

BJP President J.P. Nadda also expressed that PM Modi’s tenure has been distinguished by “decisive policymaking, welfare outreach, and a profound connection with the needs of ordinary citizens.”
