New Delhi, Sep 9 (NationPress) On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with C.P. Radhakrishnan to personally congratulate him after Radhakrishnan's election as the Vice President of India.

In a message posted on X, the Prime Minister stated, “Had the pleasure of meeting Thiru CP Radhakrishnan Ji and congratulating him on his victory in the Vice Presidential election.” This meeting marks Modi’s inaugural official engagement with the newly elected Vice President.

Radhakrishnan, who has previously held the position of Governor in both Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu, emerged victorious in a closely contested election that took place earlier this week.
