New Delhi, Jan 19 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be hosting the 'Mann Ki Baat' radio show for 2025 on January 19 (Sunday).

This marks his inaugural 'Mann Ki Baat' episode of the year, which is the 118th installment of this broadcast.

The Mann Ki Baat program serves as a monthly radio forum for the Prime Minister to engage with citizens on various national issues and themes.

Traditionally scheduled for the last Sunday of each month, this episode has been moved to January 19 in anticipation of the Republic Day celebrations on January 26.

Topics such as Swachhata, volunteering, water conservation, Fit India, exams, and women empowerment have seen citizens contributing their thoughts and suggestions to PM Narendra Modi for Mann Ki Baat.

“Join us tomorrow at 11 am for the first 'MannKiBaat' of 2025! I am eager to showcase the inspiring collective efforts from across India that exemplify our societal strength,” PM Modi shared in a post on X.

In the previous episode of Mann Ki Baat for 2024, PM Modi emphasized the significant values of the Constitution.

“On January 26, 2025, our Constitution will reach the milestone of 75 years since its implementation. This is indeed a source of immense pride for all of us. The Constitution, crafted by our founding leaders, has withstood the test of time. It serves as a beacon for us, guiding our path. To connect citizens with the legacy of the Constitution, we have launched a special website at http://constitution75.com. Here, you can upload videos of yourself reading the Preamble of the Constitution, access it in various languages, and pose questions about it,” he stated.

Introduced in October 2014, Mann Ki Baat endeavors to engage diverse segments of Indian society, including women, the elderly, and the youth.

This program enjoys immense popularity, with listeners nationwide tuning in to hear PM Modi as he shares his reflections and highlights remarkable societal advancements and individual accomplishments that positively impact communities.

The Prime Minister's radio initiative inspired Ashwin Fernandes, Executive Director at QS World University Rankings UK, to write and publish a book titled 'MODIALOGUE'.

The book, released last year, celebrates the expansive influence of PM Modi's well-regarded program, 'Mann Ki Baat'.

Fernandes mentioned to IANS that PM Modi's dynamic and motivational personality prompted him to listen to Mann Ki Baat, providing valuable insights into the Prime Minister's efforts to unify the nation through this radio show.

The academician from Goa also highlighted the power of effective communication in his book.

“If we examine past world leaders, we can observe how figures like J.F. Kennedy in the US or Lee Kuan Yew in Singapore effectively used open-hearted communication,” he noted.

“It's all about engaging with people in a straightforward and sincere manner. I believe that's what PM Modi has accomplished with Mann Ki Baat, and MODIALOGUE encapsulates this journey over the last 100 episodes, preserving the Prime Minister's words and vision for future generations,” he told IANS.
