Agartala, April 8 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Tripura, Manik Saha, remarked on Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is diligently working for the comprehensive welfare of the indigenous population in the state, and that the BJP government is following PM Modi's guidance.

During a party event in Takarjala, located in the Sepahijala district, the Chief Minister noted that PM Modi is actively pursuing the welfare of the tribal communities across India, including those in Tripura.

“He consistently prioritizes the development of the indigenous populace, and our state administration is aligned with that goal,” Saha stated. He emphasized that if the indigenous communities support the BJP, both the country and the state would emerge stronger.

Saha mentioned that the conference was held for dedicated party members, where numerous significant topics were addressed.

“Discussions were also conducted with various individuals. At this gathering, approximately 140 members from 50 families joined the BJP, primarily transitioning from the opposition Congress and CPI-M. I extend a warm welcome to them on behalf of the BJP,” Saha expressed.

The Chief Minister conveyed to the indigenous communities that since the Prime Minister is focused on their needs and the government is also attentive, their involvement with the BJP would yield benefits for both the tribes and the state.

Saha remarked that his administration is no longer serving exclusively the BJP, but is inclusive for all, embodying the party's vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayaas’.

The Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) and Tipra Motha Party are allies of the BJP, and the government consistently formulates decisions and strategies regarding tribal matters after consulting with all involved parties.

Present at the conference were the senior leaders of the BJP's tribal wing, Janjati Morcha. One-third of Tripura's population, which is about four million, comprises tribal individuals, who play a vital role in the state's electoral dynamics.
